What you get with me…
I am a DONA Certified Birth Doula based out of Morristown, NJ and serve clients in and around northern New Jersey/New York Metropolitan Areas (Morris County, Essex County, Passaic County, Bergen County, Hunterdon County, Warren County.)
I support clients wherever they are choosing to birth their baby - the hospital, a birthing center, or a home birth with your provider or midwife.
Services include a comprehensive Client Intake and interview meeting. You will receive two prenatal visits (preferably one in your home and space), birth plan support, planning, and creation, materials and resources personally created for your keeping, continuous support from when you feel you need it as you approach and get into active labor* through the “golden hour” + after your birth, and one postpartum visit around 10-14 days after your birth, at your home.
I create a personalized “birth binder” for you with childbirth education materials, resources, recommendations and referrals for other services you may be interested in or need, visual aids, and personalized materials curated specifically for your needs and wishes during your pregnancy. You receive unlimited calls and texts to address any questions, concerns, and things going on during your last trimester and I am on-call for you from 38 weeks until your birth. I am here to support you how you need it.
Birth Doula Support services start at $1900, payment plans always available if needed.
I’ve been a middle and high school physical education teacher, coach, and administrator for 24+ years and bring a wide breadth of experience in educating you specifically how you need it, including tailored materials and resources. I believe staying in contact and feeling connected, especially during the third trimester is not only helpful, it can be comforting to know you have your “go-to” person. Being informed, knowledgeable, and empowered in your decisions can truly have amazing effects on your, and your partner’s, birthing experience. The more you know, the less you fear. This is your birth. I’m here to support you, how you best feel supported.
